Based at our main site on Castleham Industrial Estate in Hastings, this role reports to the Customer Services Manager working in close knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with previous experience as a Customer Services Advisor or a similar role who can work well within a team and on their own initiative. This role is permanent, working 37.5 hours per week.
What are the main duties of this role?
- Build and maintain trusting and valued relationships with our customers, colleagues and all operational areas.
- Increase sales opportunities for the Company.
- Arrange / co-ordinate, through liaison with the internal distribution network, agreed delivery schedules to provide for the timely supply of requested goods or services to meet demand.
- Provide a positive call answer enquiry service.
- Input orders, providing an accurate order progressing service.
- Set up and maintain electronic and manual customer records.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role providing excellent customer service.
- Experience in communicating and responding to customer queries via the telephone and email.
- Positive attitude and motivation and have good attention to detail.
- A confident and pleasant telephone manner
- Computer literacy skills
- Previous experience working in a team environment.
- GCSE’s (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
