MT Presented with Wellbeing at Work Award!

We are delighted to have been presented with the East Sussex County Council Wellbeing at Work Bronze Award! Our HR Department happily accepted the award this week in our Hastings head office.

The Wellbeing at Work Award is granted to businesses across East Sussex that actively promote and support key areas of employee wellness. This includes physical activity and active travel, healthy eating, mental health awareness, responsible substance use, leadership and workplace culture, and musculoskeletal health.

Marshall-Tufflex’s HR team has played a pivotal role in driving workplace wellness initiatives, introducing a variety of activities aimed at enhancing employee wellbeing. These include a monthly lunchtime walk to encourage physical activity, onsite financial wellbeing workshops to support staff with financial planning, and procedures to assist employees managing musculoskeletal conditions. Additionally, the company has fostered a workplace culture that encourages employees to take regular breaks, recognising the importance of rest and recovery in overall productivity and wellbeing.

Alongside these new initiatives, Marshall-Tufflex has long been dedicated to employee wellness, offering mental health first aid training, free counselling services, and financial grants to support its workforce.

Receiving the Wellbeing at Work Bronze Award is a testament to Marshall-Tufflex’s ongoing commitment to creating a supportive and healthy workplace. The company remains dedicated to further enhancing its wellbeing initiatives and looks forward to building on this achievement in the future.
