During an exciting time of expansion, we have a new vacancy for a Toolmaker to join our team based at our Castleham site to provide tool making, repair and maintenance services as needed to meet the requirements of the company’s manufacturing operations. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours working a rotational shift pattern covering the hours of 6am – 2pm, 8am – 4pm and 2pm – 10pm.
What are the main duties of this role?
- To provide tool-making, repair and maintenance services as requested to meet the needs of the Company’s manufacturing operation
- To provide finished product and work tasks to a pre-determined specification and tolerance
- Able to deliver a high level of accuracy in both manual and clerical demands for this role, especially with the application and transfer of technical specification data from drawings
What we are looking for:
- Relevant mechanical and production engineering qualification
- Experience of working within a busy tool shop operating to tight, well defined deadlines.
- Ability to understand, interpret and work with technical drawings
- Ability to provide finished product to the correct specification within deadline
- A flexible approach to work, supporting your Team to deliver the overall objectives
- Demonstrable ability of working within safe working practices
