We have introduced four new Universal Switch and Socket Boxes to our range. The new 44mm deep boxes feature knock outs for both 20mm round conduit and mini trunking (25x16mm). These boxes are in addition to our 32mm deep boxes and simplify the range for ease of order, stocking and specification.
The boxes are designed with a choice of either square or rounded corners. Single gang boxes feature one knockout for mini trunking and one for conduit, whilst twin gang boxes feature three knockouts for mini trunking and three for conduit. This also gives the installer various options when it comes to the required entry point – into the box from either left, right and/or centre.
The new boxes replace a larger range of switch and socket boxes with varying knockout configurations.
By simplifying the range, installers will benefit from boxes that can be used for a variety of installation requirements, with less variations to store or manage.
