Marshall-Tufflex Commits to Net Zero by 2045

Marshall-Tufflex is proud to announce its commitment to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3 by 2045, measured against a 2024 baseline. This bold target marks a significant milestone in our sustainability journey and reinforces our long-standing commitment to responsible manufacturing and environmental leadership.

Our net zero ambition has been developed in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Corporate Net Zero Standard and aligned to a 1.5°C pathway. As part of this commitment, we are targeting a 63% absolute reduction in Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2035, with at least a 90% reduction by 2045. Any residual emissions at that point will be neutralised in accordance with recognised best practice.

With over 90% of our emissions sitting within Scope 3, collaboration across our value chain will be critical. We are therefore working closely with suppliers covering 70% of our Purchased Goods & Services emissions to support them in setting their own net zero targets by 2029. Alongside this, we are continuing to improve data accuracy, expand circular initiatives such as product take-back schemes, and strengthen ESG requirements within our procurement processes.

We are also accelerating decarbonisation across our own operations through fleet optimisation, renewable electricity procurement, site efficiency improvements and continued investment in innovation.

“Sustainability has always been part of our DNA. Committing to net zero by 2045 is an ambitious step, but it reflects our determination to lead responsibly and grow sustainably. Through collaboration, innovation and transparency, we are confident we can deliver meaningful change for our customers, our communities and the planet.”

Our Net Zero Transition Plan provides a clear and accountable roadmap for the years ahead, ensuring sustainability remains central to our long-term business strategy.
