MT awarded for ongoing commitment to sustainability

We’re proud to share that our ongoing commitment to sustainable practices has been recognised with two prestigious industry awards – the ‘Sustainable Stand’ award at CEF Live and the 1066 Business Awards ‘Sustainability Champion’ Award 2025.

At Marshall-Tufflex, we’ve taken many steps to minimise our environmental impact. This includes using recycled PVC-U from post-industrial windows in our production, and making our cardboard packaging from 100% recycled and recyclable materials. We’re also on a journey to net zero and have already achieved an impressive 11% carbon footprint reduction in year two, followed by a 6.6% reduction in year three.

At CEF Live, our stand (built by Focal Exhibitions) earned the Sustainable Stand award, with full points in ten out of thirteen categories. We demonstrated best-in-class practices including a reusable stand, sustainable flooring, FSC-certified timber, low-energy lighting, and no single-use plastics. We also scored top marks for being paper-free and for holding an EcoVadis sustainability certification.

The Sustainability Champion award at the 1066 Business Awards recognises organisations showing exceptional commitment to sustainability – and we’re honoured to be among them. These awards celebrate businesses that drive environmental initiatives, implement impressive sustainable practices, and inspire others.

As our Managing Director Jon Chamberlain said:

“We’re honoured to be recognised for our continued commitment to sustainability. Winning both accolades highlights our role as a leader in sustainable manufacturing. By integrating recycled material in our core product lines, engaging employees and suppliers in our net zero mission, and transparently sharing environmental data with customers, we’re setting a benchmark for the electrical and construction industries.”

Jon Chamberlain, Marshall-Tufflex

These awards come after several other key sustainability milestones for us – including supplier engagement workshops, investment in low-emission technologies, and a circular economy trial with an electrical training college.
